WAMLE is excited to welcome Melissa Kay Glynn as the newest member of our board! Melissa worked for several years as a Special Education Assistant at South Middle School in Eau Claire where she fell in love with middle level education. She left South in the spring of 2016 and enrolled at UWEC for Biology Education with a Broadfield Science certification. She is currently finishing her Junior year at the university with hopes of teaching middle level Science in the near future. We are excited to have Melissa as a part of our team!
WAMLE is proud to congratulate and thank Ava Childs, Kohler Middle School 8th grader, on the creation of her poster celebrating March, Middle Level Education Month 2018. We are pleased that Ava contributed her creative, artistic, talent to help publicize the celebration. We are impressed with how Ava’s simple, creative poster brought attention to the best of middle level education. Her poster captures exactly what a middle level school should be - diverse, inclusive, and filled with heart! Ava’s poster will help schools across the state bring attention to and celebrate Middle Level Education Month.
